چکیده

We study the spectral problem associated with equation governing small transverse motions of a viscoelastic tube finite length conveying an ideal fluid. The boundary conditions considered are general form, accounting for combination elasticity and viscous damping acting on both slopes displacements ends tube. These include many standard as special cases such clamped, free, hinged, guided conditions. derive explicit asymptotic formulas eigenvalues case generalized specialize these results to clamped in which acts but not displacements. In particular, dependence parameters is investigated.

Nonlinear Vibration Analysis of Single-Walled Carbon Nanotube Conveying Fluid in Slip Boundary Conditions Using Variational Iterative Method

In this paper, nonlinear dynamic behaviour of the carbon nanotube conveying fluid in slip boundary conditions is studied using the variation iteration method. The developed solutions are used to investigate the effects of various parameters on the nonlinear vibration of the nanotube. The results indicate that an increase in the slip parameter leads to a decrease in the frequency of vibration an...

Thermo-mechanical nonlinear vibration analysis of fluid-conveying structures subjected to different boundary conditions using Galerkin-Newton-Harmonic balancing method

The development of mathematical models for describing the dynamic behaviours of fluid conveying pipes, micro-pipes and nanotubes under the influence of some thermo-mechanical parameters results into nonlinear equations that are very difficult to solve analytically. In cases where the exact analytical solutions are presented either in implicit or explicit forms, high skills and rigorous mathemat...

Peristaltic Viscoelastic Fluid Motion in a Tube

Peristaltic motion of viscoelastic incompressible fluid in an axisymmetric tube with a sinusoidal wave is studied theoretically in the case that the radius of the tube is small relative to the wavelength. Oldroyd flow has been considered in this study and the problem is formulated and analyzed using a perturbation expansion in terms of the variation of the wave number. This analysis can model t...

Spectral determinant on graphs with generalized boundary conditions

The spectral determinant of the Schrödinger operator (−∆+V (x)) on a graph is computed for general boundary conditions. (∆ is the Laplacian and V (x) is some potential defined on the graph). Applications to restricted random walks on graphs are discussed.
